A '20 container's capacity is 28 cubic meters.
A '40 container's capacity is 55 cubic meters.

The shipment process begins with the arrival of Globus' representative in order to estimate the cargo's volume, to determine the suitable shipment type and to submit a price offer.
It is recommended to begin the process two months ahead of packing.
The packing team will arrive with all the necessary packing materials and equipment, in accordance with the concluded volume estimate for your cargo. The team will pack all the house' contents, including clothes, furniture, electric appliances and kitchen equipment. In addition, the team will disassemble beds and desks
Sea shipment times vary of course according to destination. From Israel to the US and Canada it normally takes 6-8 weeks; to Europe – 4-6 weeks; to Australia and South America – 8-10 weeks. You are invited to turn to us for precise schedules relevant to your cargo and destination.

A new gas barbeque – requires a certificate from the Standards' Institute.
A vehicle – import certificate from the Ministry of Transportation.
Used gas barbeque – cannot be cleared from customs and therefore should not be shipped.
Alcoholic beverages – over 30 bottles – will be taxed (from the first bottle) – and their import should be approved by the Ministry of Economy / the Wine Institute

Packing and unloading days are very stressful, and it is advisable that the children will not be present. However, we advise to let the children to pack a few of boxes and unload them, so that they can feel part of the process.
When unloading, the team opens all the large packages (of items such as electric appliances and furniture), assembles beds and desks, bring the small boxes into the apartment and distributes them to the various rooms as requested. We also offer unpacking and furniture assembly services.
